FAQ & Disclaimer
Answers to common questions about the Playbook, the Family Blessing Office™, and our programs — followed by our full legal disclaimer.
What is NIL?
NIL stands for Name, Image, and Likeness — the ability of college athletes to earn compensation from the use of their name, image, and likeness. It's one part of a much larger and rapidly changing athletic ecosystem that also includes recruiting, transfer portals, social media visibility, and personal branding.
Is this a book about getting an NIL deal or reaching the NFL?
No. The Playbook is not a roadmap to the NFL or a guide to securing NIL compensation. It's a roadmap to responsible stewardship — helping athletes and families build the character, governance, and decision-making structure that opportunity requires, regardless of where the athletic journey ultimately leads.
Is this legal, financial, or tax advice?
No. Our materials are educational and informational. Readers should consult qualified attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and other credentialed professionals before making significant legal, financial, or business decisions. See the full disclaimer below.
Who is New Birth Villages Ministries (NBVM)?
NBVM is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation that developed The Family Blessing Office™ and The Premier NIL Playbook™ to help athletes, families, and communities navigate opportunity with wisdom and stewardship. Learn more about NBVM →
Do I need to buy the Playbook before the Readiness Package or Workshop?
The Playbook is included in every tier, so there's no need to purchase it separately first. See Programs & Pricing → to compare what's included at each level.
Is this only for football players?
While many examples reference football and the NFL, the principles of stewardship, discipline, leadership, character, governance, and legacy apply broadly across sports — and beyond athletics altogether.
Can schools, academies, or youth organizations bring this to their athletes?
Yes. We work with high schools, academies, youth football organizations, churches, nonprofits, and athlete foundations. Contact us → to discuss institutional partnerships.
What comes next for the website?
This is our first, informational release. A future phase will add richer interactive features, imagery, video, and a full content management system — but the framework and information here will remain the foundation.
